The Greater Boston Food Bank
The Greater Boston Food Bank's new 117,000 square feet Yawkey Distribution Center is located in South Boston adjacent to Interstate 93. The new facility is designed to accommodate 40 million pounds of food and contains 33,000 square feet of dedicated dry storage and 100,000 cubic feet of coolers and freezers for refrigerated and frozen products.
